Dr Colisa has always had an interest in human biology ever since a young age. Her chiropractic journey began after meeting her first chiropractor. She was able to experience first-hand the results chiropractic can provide for her back pain. This ultimately led her to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
Dr Colisa graduated from Murdoch University with a double bachelor's degree in chiropractic science and clinical chiropractic. She believes that “Structure determines function”; by inducing suitable changes in the joints and nervous system through chiropractic treatment, our body’s performance can be improved.
Dr Colisa has a keen interest in posture and biomechanics. Through the chiropractic care she provides, Dr Colisa strives not just to relieve pain and discomfort but also to equip her patients with knowledge and skills to use their bodies to their fullest potential and live life their way. She also incorporates a wide variety of soft tissue techniques such as Graston, ART, and dry needling into her treatments wherever necessary.
Dr Colisa is also fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Being trilingual allows her to communicate better with patients from different cultural backgrounds, ensuring more people in need can have equal access to Chiropractic care.
Dr Colisa enjoys swimming, snorkelling, and playing badminton during her free time. She is also a food enthusiast and frequently goes café/restaurant hopping.
